Product Review: Pumpkin Patch Bodysuits
Age Group they’re for
Newborn to 18 months
What does the product do?
The Pumpkin Patch bodysuits are 100% cotton outfits.
Does it do what it should?
The Pumpkin Patch bodysuits were lovely, simple pieces to add to our daughter’s wardrobe. We trialled the Velvet Collar Bodysuit and Mini Stripe Bodysuit and both were equally as adorable as the other. The only issue we really found with the Velvet Collar Bodysuit was that it was quite difficult to clean after our baby girl had eaten a meal in it. We use full coverage bibs but there always seems to be a section around the neck that doesn’t escape the mess, and unfortunately the food seemed to cling to the collar even after a couple of washes. The Mini Stripe Bodysuit had a lovely design, with a little blue bird on the chest and sleeves that flared at the wrists, just to give it a little extra character. Both suits were generous in sizing, and would most certainly last until our girl reaches 18 months.
Would you recommend it and why?
Yes and no. Doing laundry has become a much more common occurrence since our daughter arrived, and if I can find a way to cut down on the amount of time I spend over a laundry tub or washing machine, then I will. The Velvet Collar Bodysuit stained quite easily, and despite the fact that it was otherwise soft and lovely, I wouldn’t recommend it for that reason. The Mini Stripe Bodysuit however was lovely, and had just enough difference in it to make it one of a kind, and not just another outfit in a drawer of similar items.
