Does it do what it should?
Would you recommend it and why?
Absolutely. I expect my daughter’s attention span is fairly typical of a two year old (i.e. limited) however Peppa Pig has her captivated. Peppa’s Circus contains 10 great new episodes, about 50 mins viewing time in total, and she can’t seem to get enough of it. There is a lovely mixture of stories, easy to follow for little ones and all encouraging imaginative play and good family values. The same catchy song and cute characters feature, and as always, Peppa’s adventures end happily with everyone falling on the ground in snorts of laughter (which still makes me giggle). A couple of our particular favourites on Peppa’s Circus are The Aquarium (Peppa’s goldfish is lonely so Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy Pig take Goldy to the Aquarium in search of some friends for her) and Desert Island (after declining an invitation to join Grandad Dog, Grandpa Pig and Grampy Rabbit on a fishing trip, Captain Dog is called upon to rescue them from a Desert Island, despite having vowed to never get on a boat again). We have been fans of Peppa Pig for some time now and regularly tune into ABC4Kids when it is on. It’s hard to beat having a DVD however – ready on demand and multiple episodes to tune into at a time! Peppa’s Circus has been a hit at our house and I would not hesitate recommending it to others.
